Throughout their working lives, Matt and Ann have moved often, each new destination expanding the horizons of their three young children. When they built their “forever home,” it had to live up to their island experience. “We’re outside people. We’re always swimming, biking, strolling on the shore finding seashells,” Ann says. To reflect their personality, the couple built a beachside home with HardiePlank lap siding for a clean, streamlined look. “And we knew maintenance would be a breeze,” Matt says.
